Field training program

· Description: Field experience in companies and organizations related to the major for a certain period of time based on
undergraduate programs

· Goal: Improve the adaptation of students to increase the employment rate and nurture excellent MEDICI human
resources through training programs aimed at raising the employment and competitive edge of students during
career seeking and building

· Classification

- Seasonal field training: Field training for 4 or 8 weeks during the vacation period in related companies
or organizations
- Global field training: Field training for 1 or 4 months in foreign companies or organizations
- Long-term field training: Field training for 4 or 5 months in companies or organizations

Rule for the field training program

· For junior or higher level students in the LINC department, considering the purpose of field training and courses (3rd and 4th year students in the department)

· Work 8 hours / day (40 hours a week) on a continuous basis

· Requirements for host organizations

- To perform work related to the major to increase knowledge and working capability
- To secure the health, sanitation and safety of the student
- To provide site training and instruction for the student
- Personal contact by the student not allowed
- Field training in hospitals for qualification or graduation requirements not authorized
- Sign additional agreements with the organization before field training
- Recommend the provision of subsidies

Field training program procedures
(Contact the center for questions)

· PR and application for the field training organization: Organized by the department and field training support center (except for personal PR by the student and (recruited) internship)

· Recruiting process and application for field training: Online application on the LINC website

· Organization - student matching and selection: Discuss the training schedule with the organization after online confirmation by the student * Must contact the center if a company selects a student

· Field training organization notification: Provide student information to the training organization (Check My Page after logging in to the website)

· Signing the agreement: Sign the training agreement between the field training organization and LINC

· Accident insurance subscription: Subscription to accident insurance for all trainees (against negligent accident)

· Orientation: Orientation and safety management training (Training now allowed without participation)

· Field training: Student - Log, report, online submission of satisfaction survey / Organization - Attendance, assessment, online submission of satisfactory survey

· Visit guidance and management: Visit the training organization for instructions and management of field training

· Training fee payment: Not allowed without submission of the following documents: bankbook copy, ID copy, private information provision and agreement

Support from LINC

· Training fee: Pay a certain amount to participants after the training

· Accident insurance subscription: Provides accident insurance for student safety

· Training instruction benefit: Provides management benefit to the training company with an assessment after the training

Credit approval (For the seasonal field training)

· Credit approval for field training in the organization requires signing an agreement with LINC (Enforcement with the credit approval for site training)

· Students that would like to take the field training course should submit an application during the registration period, pay the tuition fee for the credit hours or apply for a regular course in the next term

· Reflect the credit under the major selection for each department (1 credit for 4 weeks, 2 credits for 8 weeks)

· Up to 4 credits for the seasonal field training

* Prospective graduates may not take the field training course during the last term before graduation (Enforcement with the credit approval for field training)

Field training expectation

· University: Share the national burden of business-academic cooperation, create key human resources with field experience, and improve the social suitability of the curriculum

· Company: Company promotion, find and confirm excellent human resources early, save on re-training costs for newcomers, use excellent workforce

· Student: Improved field training and site adaptation experience, credit approval, field training fee, and career development through field experience
